Step by step implementation process of VMware SDDC on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with screenshots shows you how simple is to deploy this solution and have a coffee while process runs and be able to tell your manager is completed when you come back to your work station
Calculating your solution cost
Being able to estimate your solution cost is one of the first steps after knowing this is right solution for your needs.
Oracle Cloud Cost Estimator will help in this process
Creating a network
You need a compartment created to store your network (compartment is a container for resources in your zone. Equivalent to Azure Resource Group)
Expand the hamburger menu on top left of corner and browse down to Networking > Virtual Cloud Networks > Create VCN
Deploying VMware solution
Expand the menu again and scroll down to VMware Solution then select Create SDDC
The guided process requires few selections and does not require preparation in contrast to deploying VMware on premise
Ensure your names and conventions fits on limits
Select the number of ESXi host you want in your solution being 3 the minimum
At the moment you can only run 2 versions of vSphere 6.5 or 6.7
